We're looking for a Geoscience Exploration Specialist to Join Our Innovative Team
Are you passionate about the Earth's dynamic processes and eager to share your knowledge with others? If so, Husavik Environmental Education Center is seeking a Geoscience Exploration Specialist to join our dedicated team in Northeastern Iceland!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct experiential geological field trips and activities for visitors of all ages
- Develop creative and interactive educational materials related to geology and environmental science
- Collaborate with fellow team members to innovate curriculum and program offerings
- Engage with local schools and community groups to promote environmental awareness and conservation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting geologic formations and landscapes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for environmental education and sustainability
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
