We are thrilled to invite enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Western Region Adventure Sports as a Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will be at the forefront of fostering relationships with various stakeholders, advocating for community involvement, and enhancing the overall experience for adventure enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with local communities and nonprofits.
- Collaborate with government agencies to promote outdoor activities and environmental conservation efforts.
- Organize community events, workshops, and outreach programs to increase participation and awareness.
- Facilitate communication between our organization and community partners to ensure mutual benefit and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Public Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement or nonprofit work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- Passion for outdoor sports, adventure activities, and environmental sustainability.
