Position Overview:

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with stakeholders, local governments, and community organizations to drive impactful programs in alignment with Canfor Pulp Innovation's values. You will play a key role in enhancing community outreach strategies and developing partnerships that support our commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to develop and implement community engagement programs.
Create and maintain relationships with government entities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate outreach initiatives and events to promote community involvement and awareness.
Analyze community feedback and data to inform decision-making processes.
Contribute to the development of innovative strategies to support community development and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Public Administration, Environmental Studies, or related field.
2+ years of experience in community engagement, project management, or related roles.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Passion for sustainability, community development, and corporate social responsibility.
