Oklahoma Energy Solutions is looking for a Sustainability Advocacy Specialist!
Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Do you have a background in promoting sustainable practices and advocating for a greener future?
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in a role that involves driving forward Oklahoma Energy Solutions' mission to create a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future for our state. As a Sustainability Advocacy Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to advocate for renewable energy, environmentally conscious policies, and sustainable practices in Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze environmental policies and regulations
- Develop advocacy campaigns to promote sustainability initiatives
- Engage with policymakers and community stakeholders to drive change
- Collaborate with the team to organize events and initiatives that raise awareness
- Provide support in creating content for educational materials and outreach efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related field
- Experience in advocacy, public relations, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for sustainability and environmental issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
