Menorca Preservation Fund is seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Community Engagement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting with the local community and fostering partnerships that support our conservation efforts in the Balearic Islands.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach strategies to raise awareness about environmental conservation initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with local stakeholders, organizations, and community members to promote collaboration.
- Organize and lead community events, workshops, and educational programs to engage and inspire others to support our mission.
- Coordinate volunteer activities and mobilize community participation in conservation projects.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling content for social media and outreach materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or outreach activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
