Highland Agriculture Co-op is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Rural Development Coordinator!

We are a dynamic organization based in the Southern Highlands of Iceland, dedicated to sustainable agriculture practices and community development. As a Rural Development Coordinator, you will play a key role at the intersection of agricultural initiatives and community growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community engagement strategies
Facilitate collaboration between local stakeholders and government agencies
Coordinate agricultural projects to promote sustainable practices
Conduct research and analysis to support rural development initiatives
Organize workshops, events, and training programs for community members

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, or related field
Experience in project management and community outreach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
